Jock is a highly experienced Ghillie, with more than 35 years experience salmon fishing on the River Tay and many other rivers in Scotland.

Should you wish, on your return to Cromlix, our award-winning Chef can prepare your catch for you to enjoy for dinner.

We will organise all transport, and, subject to availability, we can also arrange casting lessons with Jock Monteith in our grounds before hand.

As this is a seasonal activity and Jock is in demand from worldwide clients, it is essential that availability is confirmed well in advance of your intended stay at Cromlix.

David was rod spinning from the bank using one of Jock's own design lures.
